Brian Gedden, donations made in his memory Rosemarie Gedden has sent the following message to Group Members I had a lovely surprise last week in a letter from Myton Hospice to inform me that £1,244.12 had been raised in Brian's memory. What a fantastic figure! They have also ordered me a Buddleia plant (Butterfly Tree) to put in my garden. Myton Hospice's emblem is a butterfly and I have opened a Butterfly Fund in his memory as I intend making donations in the future and for every £1,000 raised in his memory they send you a Buddleia. A rather nice way of keeping his memory going! Please convey my thanks to all the Malayan Study Group Members for their help in raising this figure. |
